How crazy, never would I have thought that at 21, I would be finding myself peeing on a testing stick and it coming out positive! It really seems just last week I was drinking a bottle of whipped cream vodka down with my friends. Now I’m taking prenatals and making myself home made smoothies.
Now, even though I wasn’t expecting to have a baby at this age, and it’s completely changed my day to day life. I am super excited, I’ve always wanted to be a mom! Right now I am 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant, my baby is as big as a green olive apparently. As far as how I’m doing throughout this pregnancy, I’m surprisingly doing amazing!
I have absolutely no morning sickness, which is a godsend. I read about horror stories with morning sickness every day in the mommy groups I follow. I am always hungry and craving something though! I believe I have gained a good 10 pounds since finding out I was pregnant a month ago. (I’ve been eating wayyyy to much pasta). I’m also constantly tired, and constantly peeing. It seems like just a walk up the stairs has me completely winded. And a cup of water will have me sitting on the toilet at least 5 times in one hour.
I also occasionally get cramps in my lower stomach, like I’m about to have my period. It really scared me at first, it was something I definitely didn’t know would come with pregnancy. I guess it’s my uterus growing, that’s what my dr told me at least. It does make sense why that would cause some cramping, especially as a first time mom. My body’s expanded and moving in ways it never has before.
The biggest downside has to be for my partner lol. My mood is everywhere! It’s like the littlest things annoying the shit out of me, and I know it’s stupid to be upset, but sometimes I just can’t help myself. I usually just have to sit back and think about all the amazing things he’s doing for me, and then it definitely outshine that one little thing that’s annoying me.
That seems to be about it for symptoms right now with me. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t get morning sickness, and the pregnancy symptoms stay on the low! I would love to hear about from you other pregnant moms, or use to be pregnant moms, and how you are holding up on your end. Thank you for reading, and I will be back soon!
Super cute!!! I love that you are taking such good care of yourself 🥰
